Routine cleaning
A clean that works with your household.
Some details matter every visit. Others can wait until the spare room is used, visitors have left or a quieter week allows time for extra attention.
A useful routine starts with understanding those differences, along with how you like your home cared for. Clear priorities help us use the booked time where it makes the most difference to you.

Make the routine your own.
Your preferences guide the details as well as the areas we clean.
What matters every visit
Tell us what you would most notice if it were missed, and which areas are used less often. Separating these essentials from occasional tasks gives us a clear order of priority when a particular visit needs more attention than usual.
Room for occasional detail
A less frequently used room or an extra detail can be planned for a visit when the usual priorities allow. If you want something added, discuss what can take its place within the booked time, or whether additional time is needed. Adding a task does not automatically extend the booking.
How you like things left
Small preferences make a difference: where light items belong, how you like cushions arranged or which belongings you prefer left untouched. Share these details at the start and let us know when they change, rather than relying on a standard idea of how a home should look.
Clear access, useful time
Clearing loose belongings from benches and floors gives us access to the surfaces underneath. If you would like help with presentation or other household tasks, include that in the discussion so time can be allowed for it. We do not move or lift heavy items.
People, pets & working from home
Let us know about pets, rooms in use or calls you need to work around. Flag doors that should stay closed and areas that will be unavailable. Knowing this beforehand helps us discuss a practical order for the visit without interrupting more of your day than necessary.
Surfaces with particular needs
Point out delicate finishes, existing damage and any manufacturer care instructions. Tell us about products or methods that have caused problems before. If marks on painted surfaces need attention, we discuss paint condition and the risk of damage before seeking your approval.

Start from a manageable condition.
If older residue takes most of the available time on every visit, other priorities can keep falling behind. It can be more useful to address that build-up separately, rather than repeatedly fitting it into a maintenance booking.
Share photos of any areas that concern you before the first visit. We can discuss whether a deep clean is appropriate for those areas and then plan the recurring work around maintaining them.

Choose a useful frequency
The number of people and pets, how often rooms are used and the upkeep you manage between visits all affect the work. Discuss the result you want to maintain and your available budget so frequency and booked time can be considered together.
Review the first visits
The first visits help establish how the agreed tasks fit the time and condition of your home. If the plan needs adjustment, we discuss the priorities, time or frequency with you. Estimates are guides, and additional work requires agreement.
Plan extras beforehand
Request oven cleaning or other additional work before the visit so we can discuss how it fits. Window washing is on request for standard, reasonably reachable windows; condition is considered, and some may need a specialist professional window cleaning service.
