Deep cleaning
Give the areas needing more time the attention they need.
A deep clean is not simply a routine clean with more tasks added. How long residue has been there, the material underneath and the access available all influence how the work can be approached.
Knowing which areas concern you most helps us plan a clean that makes a useful difference in your home, rather than spreading the available time too thinly.

A closer look at your home
The condition of a surface matters as much as the area being cleaned.
Build-up takes time
Layers of grease or soap residue may need repeated attention rather than a single wipe. A room with concentrated build-up can take longer than a larger, regularly maintained space. Close-up photos of problem areas are often more useful than room size alone.
Dirt is not always the cause
Discolouration, scratches, worn coatings and damaged grout can remain after cleaning. Tell us about marks you are unsure of so we can discuss what may improve and what may need repair or specialist restoration. A deep clean cannot return every surface to its original condition.
Care around finishes
More intensive cleaning does not mean using the strongest treatment on every surface. Stone, timber, painted joinery and delicate fittings need an approach suited to their finish. Share any manufacturer care instructions, previous damage or areas that have reacted to cleaning before.
Working in an occupied home
Your home does not need to be vacant. Clearing personal items from the areas needing attention allows more of the booked time to be spent cleaning. If build-up is behind or beneath a heavy item, arrange access beforehand; we do not move or lift heavy furniture or appliances.
Inside storage & appliances
Let us know which interiors you want included, rather than assuming every cupboard or appliance will be addressed. Empty the agreed cupboards and drawers beforehand and remove food or belongings from appliance interiors. Photos of oven residue help us allow for the level of attention needed.
Windows & painted surfaces
Window washing is available on request for standard, reasonably reachable windows. Their condition is considered, as some may need specialist window cleaning. For painted surfaces, highlight the marks that concern you; wall cleaning needs your approval after paint condition and the risk of damage have been discussed.

Make ongoing care easier.
If you are starting a regular cleaning service, addressing existing build-up first helps establish a more manageable starting point. Routine bookings can then focus on maintaining the areas your household uses, rather than repeatedly trying to tackle older residue within the same time.
The right frequency depends on how the home is used and what you would like help maintaining. We can discuss ongoing priorities after the deep clean, including details that may benefit from occasional extra attention.

Show us the problem areas
Share photos of the areas that need the most attention, along with the number of rooms and bathrooms. Mention when they were last thoroughly cleaned, where known, and any access limitations. These details help us estimate the work more accurately.
Choose what matters most
If you have a set budget, identify your main priorities. It may be more useful to complete a few demanding areas thoroughly than give the entire home a lighter pass. We discuss a realistic scope before the booking.
Allow for what we find
Photos cannot show every layer of residue or the condition underneath. Estimates are a guide. If the clean needs more time or work beyond the agreed scope, we discuss it with you and obtain agreement before proceeding.
